Sowing Seeds For Resilience.
A global philanthropic network uplifting communities by bringing people together to plant
the seeds that grow a more just and resilience world.
ABOUT SEED CHANGE COLLECTIVE
Small Donations. Big Global Impact.
Seed Change Collective is a global philanthropic network rooted in the belief that small donations can create big global impact. Born from firsthand experiences witnessing grassroots leaders with powerful ideas but limited funding, the organization exists to connect everyday generosity to community-based changemakers around the world.
With a transparent, 80/20 “Sow & Grow” model—where 80% of donations directly support locally led initiatives and 20% sustains operations—Seed Change Collective funds women and youth empowerment, public health, environmental stewardship, and climate resilience projects that might otherwise go unfunded.
By prioritizing equity, relationship-based giving, and direct community investment, Seed Change Collective transforms micro-contributions into measurable, lasting change—proving that when we plant even the smallest seeds of generosity in the right soil, they grow into resilience for communities worldwide.
ABOUT SEED CHANGE COLLECTIVE
Small Donations. Big global impact
Traveling through Africa, I met community leaders, chiefs, parents, elders, women, and young visionaries who carried powerful ideas for strengthening their communities – ideas that could uplift women, protect children, improve public health, and build resilience to combat climate change. Yet again, and again, every conservation uncovered the same barrier to improvement: funding.
When asked what it would take to bring their visions to life, I often heard numbers equivalent to $2,500 or $5,000 – an amount so small in comparison to the magnitude of impact it could make yet out of reach. I remember thinking, you can do all of this for just $5,000? and wishing I could simply give it to them. The need was small, but the difference it could make was enormous. That realization stayed with me.
Vision
To create a connected world where friends empower resilience through small contributions that lead to big impacts in communities worldwide.
Mission
Seed Change Collective connects everyday generosity to grassroots leaders around the world, demonstrating that even the smallest contributions can grow into life-changing community impact.
CORE VALUES

Connecting Friends to Impact
Making generosity personal and tangible especially among friends who travel and can engage globally.

Faith in Action
Sowing into communities and humanity because “God said So(w).”

Financial Transparency
Adhering to the 80/20 model of donations to impact vs. sustainability.

Joy in Giving
Turning generosity, travel, and service into a lifestyle of connection, culture, and friendship worldwide.
WHY SEED CHANGE COLLECTIVE

Funding Disparities
Only 2-5% of global philanthropic dollars reach locally-led organizations

Lack of Diverse Funding
Only 7% of US philanthropic dollars go to organizations led by people of color and women led organizations receive less than 1%

Overlooking High Impact
Studies show that small grants can produce up to 5x the impact per dollar

Identifying Local Initiatives
Philanthropy is designed for “big grants to big organizations” leaving thousands unfunded
OUR SOLUTION

Direct Community Funding to Locally Led Initiatives
Donations support organizations that can’t access traditional large-scale grants with a higher return on philanthropic dollars through local efficiency and delivering funding exactly where it can have immediate and measurable impact.

Expanding Access for Underfunded
Funds diversity and equity globally while elevating voices and solutions that are often by building a global directory of vetted, high-impact local organizations and relationships that ensures donors can confidently support initiatives with proven
credibility and long-term relevance.

Transparent, Relationship-Based Giving
Our solution is rooted in relationships between givers and receivers and grounded in the philosophy of sowing generously and sustainably. Aligned with our 80/20 model, we reinforce trust through clear reporting, stories, videos, data, and a relational giving model that connects donors to shared impact through storytelling and travel.
